SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS Strengthens Position – Signs Long-Term Lease Agreement with GMT BEAUTY for Historic Wooden Building

As the Riga Central Business District develops, the A-class office complex SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS is also evolving rapidly, purposefully solidifying its status as one of the most advanced business hubs in the heart of Riga by attracting new tenants from growing industries. We have recently signed a long-term lease agreement with Latvian cosmetics manufacturer GMT BEAUTY, which has chosen SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS as the strategic location for its office and brand representation in central Riga. The company’s new premises will be located in the historic wooden building at Ernesta Birznieka-Upīša Street 4, with its opening planned for spring 2026.

The development of SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS is part of Linstow Baltic’s long-term vision for transforming the Riga Central Business District – from a traditional city quarter into a modern, integrated business environment that is equally attractive to companies, residents and investors. This project expands the offering of high-quality office and commercial spaces in the heart of Riga and also serves as an example of how it’s possible to balance the preservation of cultural heritage with a modern, technologically advanced work environment.

GMT BEAUTY is a cosmetics brand created in Latvia that combines the power of natural resources with the possibilities of modern science and technology. The company’s beauty products are developed in cooperation with experienced experts and use natural, sustainable ingredients. Therefore, it is no coincidence that GMT BEAUTY has chosen the historic wooden building in SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS for its development, where it will all 380 m² of leasable area in this two-and-half story house. It is an environment that perfectly reflects the values ​​of sustainability and innovation, which the company also brings to life in its cosmetics.

The 12,000 m2 SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS is an A-class office complex is opened in 2025. It consists of three interconnected buildings, including the integration of one 19th century wooden building that is part of the city’s cultural-historical heritage.  At Linstow Baltic, we take pride in developing properties that bridge the past and the future. Within the SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS compound lies a 2.5-floor wooden building – one of the many wooden architectural treasures that helped earn Riga’s Historical Center its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Originally built around 1870 as a residential property and later serving as an orphanage and house of prayer for local Jewish community, this building has gone through a complete reconstruction. Its exterior was restored to its former visual glory using the highest modern technical standards, ensuring it meets the demands of today’s businesses while preserving its historical wooden façade and eclectic charm. This project exemplifies our dedication to combining heritage preservation with business innovation.

The office complex is located in the quarter between Elizabetes Street, Ernesta Birznieka-Upīša Street, Dzirnavu Street and Satekles Street, and organically fits into the neighborhood quarter comprised of Riga’s Central Railway Passenger Station, the Origo One Business Center and Origo Shopping Center.

The main building is home to AS SEB Bank’s central offices in Latvia. Meanwhile, premises with a total area of 1,000 m² are still available in the new six-story building on Satekles Street 1C, which can be leased by one or multiple tenants. The layout offers flexible office and commercial space solutions ranging from 120 to 400 m² per floor, adaptable to the needs of different businesses. The first-floor premises are suitable for both offices and commercial activities, particularly for businesses requiring a regular flow of visitors or customers. The upper floors provide a comfortable environment for modern offices, while the building’s top level will feature a roof terrace. It is also important to note that, certifying SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS ‘s compliance with the highest quality standards and outstanding sustainability solutions, in the autumn of 2023, it received international recognition according to the BREEAM building certification system BREEAM International New Construction 2016 for a design stage, which – at that time – had the only outstanding rating in Latvia.
